GORA
or how to get the right Rock'n'roll attitude
Once upon the time there were five rockers dreaming to get back to the real raw sound of rock music.
Pushed by a prematured inscription at the Geneva Music Fair in 2003, they put up a wide repertory of rock classics. They all came from different styles of rocks, but still were eager to share together that call of wilderness.
Thierry (drums) and Dédé (bass) used to play together twice in a major cover band in Geneva (Change) and in a rock original band (Edge).
Renato (lead guitar) and J.Jay (vocals) are known in Switzerland, France and USA for leading a famous hard rock band (Rash Panzer). Johan joined lately the band as guitar player and also played in couple of cover bands.
GORA also means Mountain in Russian and is giving one to three hours of pure rock pleasure, personalising hard and rock classics.
That's what makes them different, special: craziness, passion, making you believe they are the guys who wrote those rock hits.
